This house was perfect! It had all of the amenities that you would need. All of the details from the s'mores bar to the most comfortable beds to the wireless charging for your phones at the bedside, EVERY detail is perfect. Everything has a quality look and feel to it, no corners cut. Lake Minnewaska was only a10 minute drive away for all the hiking and swimming one can need. The view on the drive from Lake Minnewaska to Kin house is amazing. If we had questions Emily was responsive within minutes via text. Emily and team do it right, you can't go wrong staying here. Its a beautiful house and I would definitely recommend staying here!

We loved our stay at the beautiful Kin Cottage! First off, Emily was a fantastic host. She was really helpful with giving local recommendations for great places to eat and check out in the area. The location of the cottage was great, about a 5-15 minute drive to so many great spots to get a bite to eat or drink. She was also great at being available and responsive if we had any questions! The house itself was adorable and spotless! Just pulling up we were greeted with a cute pink exterior and a gorgeous mountain view sunset across the street. The decorating was cute, modern, and charming. Lots of fun pops of color, a big comfy couch with bay window behind, a gorgeous modern kitchen with all kinds of amenities, comfy beds, a big TV, and an awesome hot tub! We also really appreciated that she had some yoga mats to use (which we used before going in the hot tub). If you ever need a place to stay/getaway in the Accord/Stone Ridge/High Falls area, don't miss out on Kin Cottage!

Emily's place was so beautiful and spacious. it was in a quiet location with great scenery. The location was close enough to restaurants and antique shops. Also, the living room couch was so comfortable. We didn't get to use the backyard due to weather but lots of amenities. We'll be back!

We appreciated so much the proximity of the Kin House to Minnewaska State Park! It literally was five minutes away. We enjoyed using the hot tub after a chilly day outdoors, and we appreciated the comfortable king bed and the modern kitchen. While the Kin House is in a quiet residential neighborhood, it is on the edge of wilderness. A wild turkey meandered by one day, and a black bear passed in front of our car during our travels. Even so, it is also close to breweries and eateries. Emily was very responsive and helpful during the booking process.

This house is 5 stars across the board - great location, hottub close to the house (important in cold weather!!!), great bedrooms/sleeping arrangements, and not 1 but 2(!) places to hang out and play music/games/etc. It was the perfect house for our weekend getaway and would highly recommend it. The welcome gifts of s’mores and film/loaner instax camera were also a really nice touch!

An amazing weekend getaway for anyone tired of the hustle and bustle of NYC! The entire house was extremely clean, the wifi was fast, the beds were so comfortable, and the kitchen, living rooms, etc. were well-equipped for a wonderful few days. The cherry on top was the hot tub—what a great way to spend a chilly night! I look forward to coming back and would recommend anyone to book this wonderful place. Don Juan Babyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

Kin house is the perfect venue for a sweet escape. The house is even more stunning in person. Emily created the perfect house manual that answers literally any question you may have. We went for two nights and had the chance to visit Rough Cut brewing-- 10/10 recommend. We spent most of the time at the house cooking, soaking in the hot tub and playing some of the fun games Emily provided! Overall-- would definitely stay again! thank you Emily and Kin house team.

Place was amazing, perfect for getaways for friends or family. We had lots of fun enjoying the snow tubes provided and the hot tub. The beds were super comfortable and everything that was needed was basically provided. Definitely would recommend.

Everything about this place was perfect! Emily was a fanatic host and communicated perfectly. The place is super beautiful and cozy. Definitely loved the hot tub under the stars. The area is solid with lots of options depending on how far you're willing to drive. We would absolutely come back here!

Beautiful home! Plenty of activities to do around but we stayed in most of the time. The house is very well designed, spotless; and Emily was very communicative.

The house was exactly as described / as shown in photos - there were four great bedrooms, an open kitchen, and enough room to hangout with a group of friends. The hot tub was lovely and made the experience that much more fun. We weren't able to see the surrounding area / town as much given the weather, but the closest town looked absolutely adorable and there are a ton of trails right around the house for hiking, etc. Would 100% recommend staying at Emily's place with a group of friends, etc

One of my favorite stays I’ve had on airbnb. The house was easy to get to, but yet felt secluded and private. This was a great stay for best friends and their significant others, the upstairs and downstairs bedrooms are very well divided, so one of us staying up late wasn’t disruptive to the others. The host graciously gave us great dining and shopping advice. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

First of all,Emily is a great host! The location is lovely and quiet. We enjoyed the hot tub,fire pit and balcony since the weather was beautiful. The house is spacious and really nice. We will be back again!

Such great care was incorporated into every little detail, and this insomniac even managed to sneak in several moments of rest in your thoughtfully curated space. Emily, our host for the long weekend, was reachable within moments, as we inquired after nearby hiking trails and the cutest neighboring convenience stores. I recommend enjoying an outdoor soak in the hot tub, which is nestled in the calming woodland of the backyard, followed by a glass of wine at the woodburning stove. We truly can't wait to return to this little slice of paradise in Kerhonkson!

We loved our stay at the Kinhouse! The house is so nicely finished and decorated- they really thought of everything. Great kitchen for cooking and lots of spaces to hang out (or work if needed). Also very close to groceries/coffee/etc. perfect spot to get away from NYC for a few days!

The hot tub was a plus and so was the fire pit. Heads up bring your own firewood! We Appreciated the overall branding of the design of the place / each room has a different color theme .. bathrooms all have the same great shampoo, conditioner, etc. comfy beds and couches. It snowed while we were there and it was so beautiful. Highly recommend staying here!!

This is a really special house that is both beautiful and cozy. Emily is super easy to communicate with and insured we were comfortable and well informed. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here.

A fabulous home in a perfect location! Our group of 8 celebrated Thanksgiving at Kin House and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The house is spacious, thoughtfully stocked with everything a group needs and beautifully decorated. Emily was very helpful and responsive from answering questions prior to booking right through to checkout. Always easy to reach and ready with answers and helpful advice. We took full advantage of the hot tub and fire pit, both were great! We also enjoyed hiking in the nearby parks and were spoilt for choice in that regard. The location can’t be beat. We hope to return sometime in the near future!

I booked a pretty last minute trip to the Kin House for a quick trip to escape the city and to try to catch the end of the Fall foliage. First off, the drive to the house is beautiful. The house itself is huge, modern and spacious. I stayed on the middle floor bed and the bed was super comfortable. My friend stayed upstairs and also raved about his mattress (I think Casper mattresses). My favorite part of the stay was the backyard - made a fire and had some s’mores, and the hot tub is great! The house is pretty secluded and I appreciated the privacy. Lastly, the house was recently renovated so it’s all brand new interior and design which is always nice. Emily the host was super responsive and helpful every step of the way. 5 stars definitely recommend.

Emily, My family and I had a wonderful time in your extremely clean, warm and inviting house! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed when we decided to cook one night. The house is so spread out that we could spend some time watching different TV shows(2 TVs - one in the living room - one downstairs in the den with a great wood fireplace!) The bathrooms look brand new as well as the beautiful kitchen! We had a blast in the hot tub - we were all relaxing and enjoying ourselves! We also loved the area! We hiked on a trail with a beautiful waterfall and went to charming eateries! Emily was the nicest host and we can’t wait to come back to enjoy a winter weekend away at the KinHouse ! Thanks Emily 😄

Wow. We are so happy we booked Kin House. The place is HUGE with a bathroom on each floor and the bedrooms spread out for lots of privacy. The balcony on the third floor was my favorite spot - I spent a lot of time up there with my coffee - which I was very grateful for all the coffee options and an easy to use coffee machine. We hit up so many great restaurants nearby - you couldn’t ask for a better location. I can’t wait to come back with more friends, I will definitely be booking again!

Booked the Kin House for an extended weekend hiking trip with the guys and it was awesome! We were right by all the trails and not far from the local restaurants too. As a group of dads on a budget, we definitely appreciated being able to grab fresh groceries close by and utilize the amazing kitchen this place offers. Lots of helpful and thoughtful touches by the hosts to help us out! Ended each night winding down by the fire pit. Will definitely be back here again. Check this place out!

Kin House had everything we needed! During the day we hiked (the trails were both 7 minutes from the house!) and at night we hung out by the fire pit and used the hot tub a lot. For a big group (8 friends) we loved having so much space and the way the house is decorated. The bathrooms were all really nice and everything was so clean. The host Emily gave us some amazing restaurant recommendations- they were all so close by, like 10 mins or less. House was exactly what we needed and we will def be back again soon!
